Work arrangement
- This is a full-time, hybrid position with 1 to 2 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Work with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and peer engineers to deliver well-scoped product features.
- Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Engineering, Product, GTM, and Customer Success.
- Advocate for and practice test-driven development to deliver high-quality, reliable software.
- Keep up with technology trends and continuously improve productivity.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, PHP, or JavaScript and experience developing full-stack, high-performance, high-availability applications.
- Strong programming principles and design patterns foundation; experience building scalable systems and test-driven CI/CD.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and understanding the choice between them, including examples such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Demonstrated distributed systems design experience.
- Effective spoken and written English communication.
Preferred
- Experience with Next.js or other frontend technologies.
