Role Purpose

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end features across React and Java Spring Boot.
• Maintain frontend state management and ensure backend data integrity and transaction correctness.
• Diagnose full-stack issues involving rendering, state, concurrency, and performance.
• Improve performance under real usage and implement WCAG-compliant user interface changes.
• Manage relational database schemas, query performance, and production-safe migrations.
• Design and consume REST APIs, owning frontend-backend request and response contracts.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Apply suitable change-management discipline and coordinate shared engineering standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 5 years of React experience and deep understanding of state architecture in complex applications.
• At least 5 years of Java experience with knowledge of concurrency, thread safety, locking, and race conditions.
• Experience with Spring Boot, SQL, relational databases, REST API design, and performance improvement.
• Understanding of transaction boundaries, data integrity, WCAG accessibility, and unfamiliar codebases.
• Ability to work across multiple projects with different architectures, conventions, and risk profiles.

Additional Requirements

• The role requires genuine full-stack ownership across frontend and backend for each supported project.
• The role coordinates with project-dedicated engineers but does not report into them.
• AI-assisted coding tools and Python experience are nice-to-have qualifications.
