Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain platform features using React/TypeScript, Node/Python, PostgreSQL, and graph databases.
- Build extraction pipeline components orchestrating LLMs, VLMs, and OCR with deterministic validation and automated testing.
- Build and maintain Microsoft ecosystem integrations, including SharePoint, Azure AI, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and MCP.
- Debug distributed-system problems such as pipeline failures and optimization issues.
- Improve internal tooling, automation, and developer experience; recommend useful new tools and approaches.
- Review code for correctness, security, maintainability, testing gaps, and architectural alignment; assess AI-generated code before release.
- Potentially work with customers to scope requirements, shape solutions, deploy and integrate the platform, troubleshoot issues, and explain technical trade-offs.
- Build external integrations across APIs and databases with attention to security, permissions, reliability, and scalability.
Requirements
- At least five years of professional software development experience with demonstrated full-stack depth.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL; Python experience is valued.
- Production experience integrating LLMs or AI models, including APIs, prompts, nondeterministic outputs, validation, and cost control.
- Solid software architecture fundamentals, including design patterns, separation of concerns, and assessing scalability.
- Strong Git workflows, CI/CD, and automated testing discipline.
- Ability to review code rigorously for correctness, security, and maintainability and provide pragmatic feedback.
- Clear, direct communication; ability to ask questions, raise concerns, and collaborate constructively.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with multimodal AI systems and automation workflows.
- Experience with SharePoint APIs and Microsoft 365 integration patterns.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience in document processing, metadata extraction, or enterprise content management.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Playwright.
- Familiarity with MCP, RAG, and similar agent-based concepts.
