Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer

Role overview

AI-enabled application development

• Design and integrate AI and Generative AI features using security, responsible AI, and enterprise governance practices.
• Apply LLMs, prompt engineering and orchestration, RAG, semantic search, model evaluation, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop workflows.

Full-stack engineering and delivery

• Build, test, and maintain interfaces, APIs, backend services, and integrations for scalable AI-enabled enterprise applications.
• Translate business, risk, and operational requirements into secure, scalable, maintainable, measurable solutions.
• Support application lifecycle management, performance monitoring, value tracking, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate on design, code reviews, troubleshooting, documentation, and ongoing improvement.

Cloud, architecture, and governance

• Support cloud-native and API-driven engineering patterns, including exposure to Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Identify reusable engineering patterns, scalable AI assets, data enrichment opportunities, and modernization paths.
• Advise business, technology, risk, security, and product leaders on design patterns, blockers, and delivery.

Qualifications

• 7 years of full-stack application design and development experience, with at least 1 year delivering AI-enabled applications.
• At least 1 year of hands-on Generative and Agentic AI experience, including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, AI governance, and responsible AI.
• Strong Python and React JS experience.
• Experience with REST APIs, backend services, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with Azure SQL and PostgreSQL, including SQL queries, application integration, and data modeling concepts.
• Practical Microsoft Azure cloud application development or support experience.
• Experience with CI/CD, secure coding, production support, logging, and monitoring.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, risk, or another regulated environment is preferred.
