What You Will Do
- Own product surfaces end to end and improve them based on performance.
- Build backend APIs, services, and data flows when needed for a feature.
- Drive proposals and delivery using user feedback, data, and codebase opportunities.
- Refactor key frontend features from JavaScript to TypeScript.
- Ship LLM-driven features with model integrations, streaming responses, error handling, and clear UX.
- Resolve architecture and performance issues across frontend and backend.
- Use AI-assisted tools responsibly and help establish team practices.
- Test workflows, add monitoring and error reporting, and own live production outcomes.
- Review code and provide feedback that helps other engineers grow.
About You
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong frontend capability with backend comfort across APIs, server-side code, databases, and client-server debugging.
- Experience leading projects from concept to completion, including documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Confidence with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Vite, and Tailwind.
- Daily, thoughtful use of AI coding assistants and agents, with careful verification of generated output.
- Clear technical communication for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
- Backend experience with Node.js, Scala, or Python, relational databases, caching, and queues.
- Experience with Redux, Redux Saga, or Zustand.
- Experience building LLM-powered features, including streaming UIs, model APIs, prompt design, or evaluations.
- Experience with agentic coding workflows, custom rules or context files, or MCP servers.
