Senior Frontend Engineer - Next.js/React.js
About This Role
About the Role:
We are hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to help build a mission‑critical Web App (PWA) that acts as the primary interface for an autonomous operations platform. The product is real‑time, data and map‑driven , and designed to work reliably in connectivity‑challenged environments .
What you’ll do
- Design, build, and optimise a resilient PWA with Optimistic UI and offline‑first data synchronisation
- Develop real‑time operational dashboards and map‑based interfaces
- Build complex UI components (e.g. workflow / mission designers )
- Own standards for frontend performance, security, accessibility, and observability
- Work closely with Product, Backend, and DevOps teams in an agile, fast‑moving setup
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture
What we’re looking for (Must‑have)
- 5+ years building web applications using TypeScript
- Strong experience with Next.js or React (web)
- Experience with real‑time browser data (WebSockets / Server‑Sent Events)
- Experience building offline‑capable / PWA applications
- Solid understanding of frontend security (XSS, token handling) and testing (unit / integration / E2E)
