Senior Frontend Engineer

About This Role

Our client is building a next-generation intelligent operations platform focused on autonomous systems, robotics orchestration, and real-time logistics environments. Their technology enables organisations to deploy, monitor, and scale fleets of autonomous machines across complex operational settings.

They are currently looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead the development of highly responsive, scalable web applications that power mission-critical operations.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Designing and building modern web applications with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and performance
• Developing Progressive Web Applications (PWA) optimized for real-time operational environments
• Creating data-rich dashboards and interactive interfaces for live operational monitoring
• Building workflow and visualization tools to support dynamic automation processes
• Implementing resilient frontend architectures with offline capabilities and seamless data synchronization
• Driving frontend best practices across performance, accessibility, observability, and security
• Collaborating closely with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to translate evolving business requirements into technical solutions
• Mentoring engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and engineering process improvements

What They’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in frontend/software engineering
• Strong expertise in TypeScript , React , and/or Next.js
• Experience working with real-time browser data streams such as WebSockets or Server-Sent Events
• Solid understanding of scalable state management and frontend architecture patterns
• Hands-on experience building robust APIs integrations and offline-first experiences
• Strong understanding of frontend security principles and testing methodologies (unit, integration, E2E)
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and frontend performance optimization
• Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and take ownership of delivery

Nice to Have

• Exposure to backend technologies such as Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, Rust, or Ruby
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, or Helm
• Background in robotics, logistics tech, fleet management, GIS platforms, or operational dashboards
• Experience building systems involving geospatial or high-density real-time data

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong communication skills in English
