About This Role
Job Summary:
This Role is responsible for leading and managing the entire tendering and bidding process. This involves identifying suitable tenders, preparing comprehensive bid responses, and negotiating contracts to maximize business opportunities and profitability.
Job Description:
- Lead the preparation and management of commercial elements of bids, tenders, and RFPs.
- Develop and review customized commercial models tailored to specific RFP requirements.
- Conduct detailed reviews of RFP documents, ensuring all commercial & technical aspects are accurately addressed
- Prepare accurate tender queries after through review of tender documents.
- Collaborate with the technical team to support post-bid presentations and lead the commercial aspects.
- Ensure synchronization between the technical and commercial proposals.
- Respond promptly to customer post-bid clarifications
- Adhere to bid submission compliances, including Bid-No Bid, Final Bid Review and Bid Signoff processes.
- Ensure timely submission of all bid documentation, meeting strict deadlines.
- Assist in key negotiations with prospective clients, partners, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to maximize business opportunities.
- Address clients' queries before, during, and after bid submission.
- Work in coordination with the operations team during contract renewals.
- Assess and mitigate commercial and technical risks related to bids.
- Maintain a master file for all major contract documents, ensuring consistency and compliance
- Contribute to developing and maintaining a continuous improvement mindset in bid processes.
- Review key performance indicators (KPIs), best practices, and benchmarks to enhance service delivery.
- Mainatin records of rates for required repeating works and analyze to be able use for cost estimation.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, Bill of Quantities, prepare quantities take-offs and cost estimates.
- Able to prepare complete & accurate Request for Proposals to incite subcontractors.
- Conduct site visits, assess site conditions, and consider applicable inputs while preparing cost estimates.
Required Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or Quantity Surveying
- 5+ years experience in bid management, tendering and commercial roles related to FM Services.
- Experience in preparing and negotiating high-value tenders.
- Familiar with AutoCAD.
