Position at Al Jazeera Media Network Senior Fire & Life Safety Engineer (12-Month Contract) Contract Type: Freelance (12 Months)

Location

Doha, Qatar Al Jazeera Media Network is seeking an experienced Senior Fire & Life Safety Engineer to oversee fire protection, life safety compliance, and risk mitigation across the Network, technical facilities, studios, and critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead fire and life safety inspections, audits, investigations, and compliance reviews across AJMN facilities.

Ensure all fire detection, alarm, suppression, and life safety systems are fully operational and compliant with applicable codes and standards.

Review and approve fire protection designs, shop drawings, material submissions, and as-built documentation.

Monitor contractor and vendor performance, conduct site inspections, and manage punch lists through completion.

Support construction, renovation, and expansion projects by providing fire and life safety expertise.

Conduct annual facility assessments and recommend corrective actions and risk mitigation measures.

Deliver fire safety training and awareness programs.

Participate in tender evaluations and technical assessments of contractors and suppliers.

Prepare reports, recommendations, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
