Key Responsibilities

• **Revenue ownership:**
• Generate and grow advertising and sponsorship revenue across the Network's portfolio of channels, digital platforms, and flagship programs, working toward agreed quarterly and annual targets
• **Agency & client relationships:**
• Build and maintain senior relationships with media agencies, trading desks, and direct clients; serve as a trusted point of contact for briefs, RFPs, and upfront/annual negotiations
• **Sponsorship development:**
• Develop compelling sponsorship packages and integrated partnership propositions — spanning broadcast sponsorship, digital and social extensions, and branded content — and present them persuasively to clients and agencies
• **Proposals & pricing:**
• Respond to briefs with tailored, insight-led proposals; build pricing and rate-card recommendations using audience data, CPM benchmarks, and platform analytics
• **Campaign delivery:**
• Manage campaigns end-to-end: deal memorialization, asset delivery, sponsorship implementation, performance reporting, and post-campaign analysis for renewals
• **Cross-functional collaboration:**
• Coordinate with marketing, digital commercial, distribution, and editorial teams to ensure commercial partnerships are deliverable and consistent with the Network's editorial standards and brand guidelines
• **Market intelligence:**
• Track competitor activity, agency movements, and regional/global advertising trends; feed market intelligence into commercial strategy, packaging, and pricing decisions
• **Pipeline & reporting:**
• Maintain accurate pipeline records and revenue forecasts; report regularly on pipeline health, win rates, and revenue performance

Experience Required

• 6–10 years of experience in media sales, sponsorship, or commercial partnerships, with time spent at a broadcaster, publisher, or major digital platform
• Media agency experience (planning, buying, investment, or partnerships) or a demonstrable track record of selling to and negotiating with agencies at a senior level
• Proven success structuring and closing sponsorship deals — broadcast, digital, or event-based — from proposition development through to delivery
• Strong grasp of media trading fundamentals: CPM-based pricing, audience measurement, programmatic vs. direct sales, and cross-platform packaging
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage credibly with senior client and agency stakeholders
• Fluency in English; Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, media, or a related field
• Arabic language fluency and experience in MENA media markets
• Experience with branded content, news or current affairs environments, and the brand-safety considerations they involve
• Familiarity with YouTube and social platform monetization, addressable/CTV advertising, and digital campaign analytics
• Existing relationships with major agency holding groups and regional independents
