Qualifications and skills
- Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Expertise in financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and reconciliation.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated reporting solutions; aptitude for learning finance systems, planning tools and configuration.
- Advanced Excel, including modelling, macros and Power Query.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams and strict deadlines; stakeholder skills to partner with Finance Business Partners and influence at all levels.
- Proficiency in a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning cycles, validating inputs and meeting timelines.
- Maintain accurate financial reporting and templates for the wider Finance function.
- Partner with Finance Business Partners to provide data, analysis and support for business performance.
- Improve planning and reporting processes, reducing manual intervention and strengthening output quality.
- Develop automated reporting solutions and turn complex financial data into actionable insights.
