Senior Financial Analyst

Role overview

Essential functions

• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and long-range planning.
• Prepare timely monthly financial analyses for management.
• Analyze financial and KPI performance against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and trends.
• Partner with Accounting, Operations, and other teams to ensure financial reporting data integrity and consistency.
• Prepare materials for management, board meetings, and investors as needed.
• Improve financial processes, reporting tools, and forecasting methodologies.

Required skills and abilities

• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Index, Match, Sumproduct, Indirect, and Power Query.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency; SQL, NetSuite, or related financial systems are also listed.
• Excellent oral and written communication and ability to present complex financial analyses clearly.
• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, work independently, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Healthcare experience is preferred, not required.

Credentials and experience

• Bachelor’s degree required; Finance or Accounting degree preferred.
• At least one year of work experience required; investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance experience preferred.
