About the Role
We are representing a fast-growing, fully regulated Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) headquartered in Dubai, seeking an experienced
Senior Finance Manager
to lead and scale its finance function.
This is a high-impact role at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets, offering exposure to a dynamic regulatory environment and a rapidly evolving industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all core finance functions including financial reporting, FP&A, treasury, and accounting operations
- Ensure full compliance with UAE regulatory requirements for VASPs, including financial controls and reporting standards
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic decision-making and growth planning
- Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation
- Manage relationships with auditors, regulators, and banking partners
- Implement and enhance internal controls, policies, and financial governance frameworks
- Support licensing, regulatory reporting, and ongoing compliance obligations in coordination with compliance teams
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing finance team
Requirements
- Experience with VARA/FSRA Virtual Asset standards is essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA / ACCA / CFA strongly preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership roles
- Prior experience within a regulated financial services environment (VASP, fintech, crypto, banking, or payments)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and regulatory reporting frameworks in the UAE
- Proven experience dealing with regulators, audits, and compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with digital assets, blockchain, and crypto markets is highly desirable
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
