Senior Finance Accountant overseeing core accounting and finance activities in a growing fintech environment.
Part-time hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, with flexibility for some work from home.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and ensure accurate reporting in line with relevant standards.
- Manage general ledger entries, monitor cash flows, and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Reconcile accounts and review transactions related to escrow payments and B2B operations.
- Provide leadership with financial analysis, identify trends and risks, and support strategic decisions.
- Support compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls, and contribute to process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in finance and financial reporting, including clear interpretation and communication of results.
- Proficiency preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements under applicable accounting standards.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software and financial systems, maintaining accurate records and ledgers.
- Advanced analytical skills; strong attention to detail and integrity when handling financial information.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CA, CPA, or ACCA certification is an advantage.
- Fintech, payment platform, or B2B commerce knowledge is beneficial.
- Able to work independently and communicate and collaborate with cross-functional, geographically distributed teams.
