Senior Facilities Manager
to lead the operations, maintenance, and strategic management of facilities across our portfolio.
This role requires a strong leader with expertise in facility operations, team management, budgeting, compliance, and project execution.
Facility Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance, repair, security, and support services.
- Ensure the efficient operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical building systems.
- Develop and implement operational procedures, policies, and best practices.
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage facility teams, including technicians, supervisors, and support staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and training programs.
- Coordinate and manage external contractors and service providers.
Maintenance & Asset Management
- Develop and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance activities and emergency repairs.
- Maintain high standards of asset reliability and operational efficiency.
Budget & Vendor Management
- Prepare and manage facility budgets, including operational and capital expenditures.
- Monitor costs and optimize spending while maintaining service quality.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and service providers.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Maintain accurate records related to facility operations and compliance.
Project Management
- Lead facility improvement projects, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, architects, and contractors.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Strategic Planning
- Develop long-term facility management strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in facilities management, with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance operations, and facility regulations.
- Proven experience in budget management, vendor management, and project execution.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, or mixed-use facilities environments is preferred.
