We are seeking a highly experienced and operationally strong
Senior Manager – Facilities Management, Soft Services & Security
to lead the end-to-end management of facilities across a large, diversified group in Abu Dhabi.
This role oversees store and warehouse infrastructure, housekeeping and hygiene services, and security operations, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and cost efficiency across all locations.
The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise across MEP, civil, and refrigeration systems, combined with strong vendor management and leadership experience in multi-site environments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance and operations of all
- stores, warehouses, and office facilities
- .
- Manage infrastructure including
- MEP systems, refrigeration, civil works, and electrical systems
- .
- Lead preventive maintenance programs, asset lifecycle management, and AMC contracts.
- Drive
- energy efficiency, sustainability, and space optimization initiatives
- .
- Manage geographically dispersed in-house FM teams and ensure service consistency.
- Lead housekeeping, cleaning, waste management, and
- pest control operations
- .
- Develop and implement
- security protocols and loss prevention measures
- .
- Ensure compliance with
- fire safety, health & safety regulations
- , and emergency readiness.
- Liaise with authorities such as
- police, civil defense, and regulatory bodies
- .
- Lead sourcing and management of vendors across facilities, soft services, and security.
- Drive
- cost optimization initiatives
- without compromising service quality.
- Develop and manage annual budgets for FM, soft services, and security operations.
- Lead and develop teams including
- facility managers, supervisors, and coordinators
- .
- Collaborate closely with
- retail operations, HR, procurement, and leadership teams
- .
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus).
- **12+ years of experience**
- in Facilities Management, Soft Services, and Security operations.
- Strong experience in
- FMCG, or multi-site operational environments
- .
- In-depth technical knowledge of
- MEP systems, refrigeration, civil and electrical infrastructure
- .
- Proven ability to manage
- large vendor ecosystems and SLA-driven services
- .
- Strong understanding of
- UAE regulatory requirements (fire safety, labor law, hygiene standards)
- .
- Experience with
- CAFM systems, ticketing tools, and facility analytics
- .
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing large and distributed teams.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in
- budgeting and cost control
- .
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capabilities.
