Emirates Group IT is embarking on an exciting journey to build a new ELV (Extra Low Voltage) engineering capability as a part of the Employee Facial Recognition Programme, and we are looking for a highly skilled Senior ELV Engineer to be part of this strategic initiative.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape and establish a new capability from the ground up defining standards and delivering world-class ELV solutions that support critical security, operational and enterprise environments across our landscape.

The Senior ELV Engineer is responsible for the end to end engineering, delivery, and lifecycle support of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems across the organisation.

This includes system design, installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, integration, and technical governance of ELV solutions such as CCTV, access control, biometric systems, structured cabling, public address, intercom, and related security and automation technologies.

In this role you will Design system architectures, layouts, Single Line Diagram (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings for biometric, access control, and gate systems.

Review and validate shop drawings for compliance with Emirates Group standards, and prepare method statements, test plans, and handover documentation.

Deliver on-site installation of structured cabling, access control panels, biometric devices, and gate hardware, ensuring correct termination, labelling, shielding, and testing in line with international and Emirates Group standards.

Configure and commission biometric devices and access control controllers, including enrolment, synchronization, I/O mapping, reader setup, door logic, communication protocols, and event reporting to support secure operations and workflows.

Install and commission automated speed gates, performing mechanical and electrical alignment, configuration tuning, throughput validation, and integration with fire and disaster systems, resolving site-level faults.

Ensure end to end integration across biometric, access control, and gate systems.

Lead functional, fail safe/fail secure, redundancy, and performance testing; resolve issues across hardware, software, network, or logic layers; and deliver audit ready documentation and system handover to operations and support teams.
