Salary and pension
- Salary is £58,275–£71,040, with separate national and London ranges; London salary is £63,165–£71,040.
- A Civil Service Pension is offered with an employer contribution of 28.97%.

Contract and working pattern

Programme evaluations
- The £200 million 5G Testbed and Trials Programme was established in 2017 to stimulate development and deployment of 5G technology and infrastructure in the UK.
- The 5G programme's final evaluation is ongoing and is due to be completed this year.
- The £250 million Open Networks Programme launched in 2021 to build a more competitive and diverse telecoms equipment supply chain.
- An interim evaluation of the Open Networks Programme is planned for 2026.

- Provide direction and leadership for monitoring and evaluation work across Digital Infrastructure.
