Responsibilities
- Own and extend infrastructure and tools in the analytical tooling strand of the platform.
- Enable analysts to use secure, scalable tools and cloud-based workflow orchestration.
- Help develop platform capabilities alongside a small, collaborative team spanning data engineering, DevOps and software development.
Platform components
- Analytical tooling includes JupyterLab, RStudio, Visual Studio Code, GitHub integration and cloud-based workflow orchestration.
- The data platform includes pipelines, storage and ingestion processes for trusted data.
Compensation
- Salary range is £58,275–£71,040, with separate national and London ranges; the posting gives no salary cadence.
- An allowance of up to £10,000 may be available depending on skills, qualifications and experience.
- A Civil Service Pension is offered with an employer contribution of 28.97%.
