Senior Estimator
Role Overview
The Bowers Group, a Legence company, is seeking an experienced Sr.
Estimator to support mechanical and plumbing construction projects from concept through bid submission.
This position is responsible for developing accurate, timely, and competitive cost estimates while partnering closely with operations, project management, vendors, and clients.
This position works onsite daily in Beltsville, MD and may be union or non union.

Requirements
- 5+ years of estimating experience in mechanical and/or plumbing construction
- Strong proficiency with Quote Express, AutoBid/AutoBid Pro (or AutoBid Visual), and MS Office Suite
- Demonstrated experience reading and interpreting MEP specifications and construction drawings
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- U.S. work authorization required, no visa sponsorship available
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service experience with internal and external partners
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team based environment
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience estimating design assist projects
- Field experience in mechanical or plumbing construction
- Experience with scheduling, takeoffs, and cost databases
- Ability to mentor junior estimators
