Senior Estimation Engineer - Landscapes

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for landscaping construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Review project documents, including designs, drawings, and specifications, to assess and estimate material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to gather the necessary information for precise cost estimates.
• Assist in the preparation of tenders, proposals, and bids for landscaping projects.
• Conduct market research to obtain up-to-date pricing for materials, plant, labor, and other construction requirements specific to landscaping and pool construction.
• Evaluate and manage risks and opportunities in relation to project costs.
• Maintain organized records of all cost estimates, tenders, and related documentation.
• Ensure timely submission of accurate tender documents and provide support during the bidding process.
• Review and advise on value engineering options to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
• Liaising with clients/ contractors/ consultants to resolve the bid clarifications.
• Attend meetings/ site visits with clients/ contractors/ consultants for related tenders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer in the UAE, specifically in landscaping and swimming pool construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Landscaping, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of landscaping design, swimming pool construction methods, and materials.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prepare and manage detailed cost breakdowns.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively with teams.
• Knowledge of local regulations and industry standards in the UAE is a plus.
• UAE driving license is preferred.
