The Senior Engineering Project Manager will lead and coordinate complex engineering and construction projects from concept through completion.
This part-time hybrid role is based in Abu Dhabi, with a mix of on-site presence and work-from-home flexibility, depending on project needs.
Day-to-day responsibilities include defining project scope, schedules, and budgets; managing technical deliverables; and ensuring alignment with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
The role involves overseeing multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, contractors, and consultants, and resolving technical and operational issues in a timely manner.
The Senior Engineering Project Manager will monitor project progress, manage risks, prepare status reports, and support continuous improvement in project execution and construction practices.
Qualifications
- Strong Engineering Management and Project Engineering skills to lead technical teams and guide engineering solutions across project phases.
- Proven Project Management experience, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Solid background in Construction and Construction Management, with experience overseeing site activities, contractors, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field); a master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in parallel while working part time in a hybrid (office/site and remote) environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with strong written and verbal communication in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Experience working in Abu Dhabi or the wider UAE construction and regulatory environment is highly beneficial.
