Senior Engineer - Solution Support

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the AppViewX Platform to solve customer automation problems.
• Serve as the final point of escalation for customers.
• Troubleshoot issues, provide workarounds, and create follow-on tickets when needed.
• Create and improve support content and documentation.
• Migrate customers to the latest AppViewX code.
• Prioritize troubleshooting actions to prevent missed deadlines.
• Generate and interpret required system reports.
• Provide feedback on customer satisfaction, process improvements, and system enhancements.
• Work in a 24/7 environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent business communication and soft skills for handling international customers.
• At least 3 years of experience is preferable.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of networking, security, and certificate management platforms.
• Experience managing application deployments and hotfix patching.
• Ability to troubleshoot and decode problems based on previous experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Kubernetes, networking, or systems certifications such as RHCE, Linux+, Network+, or CCNA are advantageous.
• Security certifications are an added positive.
• Knowledge of Python or another scripting language is advantageous.
• Desire and ability to become a deep expert across multiple products and use cases.
