Role overview

Automation and service delivery

• Design and maintain Power Automate workflows for IT operations.
• Develop PowerShell automation for provisioning, reporting, remediation, and administration.
• Automate server provisioning, deployment, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Integrate automation with service desk and request fulfillment platforms.

Infrastructure and cloud

• Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi, vCenter, clusters, templates, and virtual machines.
• Administer Windows Server environments and perform monitoring, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
• Manage Azure virtual machines, networking, storage, subscriptions, RBAC, governance, and Azure Arc-enabled servers.
• Participate in cloud migration, hybrid cloud, and infrastructure modernization projects.

Identity, security, and operations

• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity and access controls.
• Support infrastructure security, compliance, vulnerability remediation, hardening, and security alert investigation.
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and problem management.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures, and mentor junior engineers.

Storage and backup

• Support NetApp storage, Data Domain, Veeam Backup & Recovery, disaster recovery testing, business continuity, and backup optimization.

Required qualifications

• At least 6 years of enterprise infrastructure engineering or systems administration experience.
• Strong experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, PowerShell, and Power Automate.
• Experience with SCCM or Microsoft Configuration Manager and infrastructure provisioning automation.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with NetApp, Data Domain, Veeam Backup & Recovery, Azure Arc, Microsoft Defender, Linux, Kubernetes, or ITSM integrations.
• Azure, VMware, automation, or Microsoft certifications are preferred.
