Senior Engineer- Project Portfolio Management

Support authority-level project portfolio management by coordinating portfolio activities, monitoring project performance, maintaining portfolio data and systems, and reporting on projects, budgets, and benefits.
Work supports alignment with RTA strategies and governance requirements.
Strategy and portfolio operations
- Support implementation of PPM and EPM frameworks, policies, and procedures across RTA entities.
- Assist in evaluating project proposals and inputs for portfolio prioritization and planning; review project information, business cases, and plans for strategic alignment.
- Support benchmarking and continuous improvement of portfolio management practices.
- Monitor portfolio performance and progress across sectors and entities; prepare and consolidate periodic reports, including quarterly progress reports.
- Track benefits realization across projects and programs and prepare related reports.
- Prepare and review project budget reports with Finance and relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain portfolio data in EPM/PPM systems; review project submissions, updates, and change requests against defined processes.
- Coordinate collection of project data, updates, and performance inputs and ensure timely reporting submissions.
Systems and process improvement
- Support operation and enhancement of PPM/EPM systems and related tools.
- Assist in developing portfolio monitoring templates, reporting formats, and dashboards.
- Contribute to improving portfolio governance processes, workflows, and reporting cycles.
- Support knowledge-sharing sessions and training on portfolio management practices and tools.
Physical working conditions
- Conduct site visits as required to support project tracking and validate reported progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience with a master's degree or at least 2 years with a bachelor's degree.
Compensation
- Monthly salary is unspecified.
