Senior Engineer, Automation/Mechatronics Engineering – Research & Technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong mechanical design capability using SolidWorks, Creo, Siemens NX, or equivalent tools.
• Experience designing mechanisms, jigs, fixtures, end-of-arm tooling, and automated material-handling systems.
• Experience with Fanuc or other industrial/collaborative robotics platforms.
• Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLC and HMI systems.
• Experience with machine vision, industrial cameras, sensors, force control, or advanced inspection technologies.
• Experience with rapid prototyping, additive manufacturing, simulation, or digital engineering tools.
• Experience integrating data acquisition, sensing, or analytics into experimental manufacturing systems.
• Exposure to artificial intelligence, machine learning, advanced vision, digital twins, or intelligent automation would be advantageous.
• Experience developing new manufacturing technologies from concept through production-relevant demonstration.

• Transfer technology to NPI with clear technical evidence, requirements, risks, and design knowledge.
• Build new manufacturing capabilities that improve Resmed's ability to develop and scale future products.
