Role overview

Full-time Senior Electrical Engineer – Operations and Maintenance position in Sharjah, UAE.

Provides electrical engineering expertise to site-based teams, including complex or non-routine calculations and analyses; reports to the Operations Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Support technical Management of Change and Engineering Queries, hazard and risk assessment, incident investigations and defect assessments.
  • Align inspection, testing, maintenance and condition monitoring with equipment strategies.
  • Update equipment strategy technical content and periodically review planned inspection and maintenance effectiveness.
  • Analyze electrical equipment reliability using surveillance, maintenance and condition-monitoring data; trend performance metrics.
  • Lead resolution of complex multidisciplinary issues where electrical engineering is dominant, including Kirkuk actions.
  • Contribute to Site Operations Procedures, coach client engineers and maintain discipline technical documentation.

Expected qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Professional accreditation as a Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer.
