Senior Electrical Engineer – MEP

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical MEP works for high-rise building projects from execution to completion.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, architects, and other MEP disciplines.
• Manage installation activities for:
• Low Voltage (LV) systems
• Power distribution systems
• Lighting and emergency lighting systems
• Small power systems
• Fire alarm systems
• ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, Data, etc.)
• Earthing and lightning protection systems
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Ensure electrical works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and authority standards.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of electrical activities.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control compliance.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Review method statements, inspection requests, and testing procedures.
• Attend coordination meetings with consultants and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and safety requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Prepare technical reports and provide updates to the Project Manager/MEP Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum
• 5–8 years of experience
• in Electrical MEP works.
• Proven experience in
• high-rise buildings, residential towers, commercial buildings, or large-scale projects in the UAE
• .
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Experience working with consultants, main contractors, and MEP subcontractors.
• Good understanding of UAE electrical codes and authority requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong leadership and site management skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and meet project deadlines.
