Role Description

Responsibilities

• Review HVAC design drawings, specifications, and project requirements for high-rise building projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, architects, and other MEP disciplines to ensure smooth project execution.
• Supervise HVAC installation works including:
• Chilled water systems
• VRF/VRV systems
• AHU, FCU, FAHU, and ventilation systems
• Ducting and piping works
• Pumps, valves, and associated HVAC equipment
• Prepare and review HVAC shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Ensure HVAC works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor installation quality and progress.
• Coordinate HVAC works with electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, and architectural requirements.
• Review and resolve technical issues, RFIs, and site-related challenges.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing when required.
• Assist in testing, adjusting, balancing (TAB), and commissioning activities.
• Prepare inspection requests, method statements, and work completion reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and international HVAC standards.
• Maintain project documentation and provide regular progress reports.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum
• 3–8 years of experience
• in HVAC systems within MEP contracting companies.
• Experience in
• high-rise buildings, residential towers, hotels, or commercial projects
• is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Familiarity with:
• AutoCAD

• Revit MEP (preferred)

• HVAC design software
• MS Office applications
• Knowledge of UAE MEP standards and authority requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and technical specifications.
