Role overview

Penspen is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The role may operate within the Core Engineering Team or a PMT project team and is based in Khafji, Saudi Arabia.

The engineer may have responsibility for electrical engineering personnel; duties may be delegated by a Lead Electrical Engineer.

Responsibilities

Control and manage engineer-grade electrical personnel and delegate activities to support personnel when assigned.
Carry out duties under a Lead Electrical Engineer’s supervision when applicable.
Take charge of assigned electrical engineering tasks within the team or project environment.

Knowledge and experience

At least 12 years of experience, including eight years in engineering for major oil and gas or petrochemical projects.
PMC experience in a similar role for several years is preferable.
Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standards and procedures or practices is beneficial.
Computer literate with Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and Excel.
Construction and commissioning exposure is beneficial but not mandatory.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
