- Conduct market analysis and feasibility studies to inform venue design and event hosting capabilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sports governing bodies, event organizers, government entities, and other key stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and sustainability practices
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative environment focused on innovation and excellence
- Provide regular reports and presentations to executive leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities
- Champion initiatives that enhance spectator engagement and athlete experience within the venues
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sports Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in sports venue development, large scale event facilities, or closely related sector
- Strong knowledge of international standards for sports competition venues and event management
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex development projects from inception to delivery
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, timelines, and project risks effectively
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and regulations relevant to sports and event venues
