Role Overview
The Senior Digital Data Analyst reports to the Data Intelligence Lead and creates data insights tailored to client requirements.
The role collaborates with digital and engineering teams to analyse data, present clear stories, and identify value in complex datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor junior data analysts and collaborate with Operations and Technical leads on project delivery.
- Apply ETL processes, create Power BI dashboards, and produce visual outputs using GIS software.
- Interpret complex metrics, manage relational database tables, and develop low-code solutions with Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Present data in accessible language, provide strategic recommendations, identify project opportunities, and lead bids.
- Keep current with data analytics trends and technologies and apply relevant developments to projects.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in a data analyst role.
- A degree and/or experience in data analytics, computer science, or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of dashboarding platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Ability to tell stories from data, recognise value for client problems, learn new technologies, work in a team, and maintain attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Extensive experience with coding languages including Python.
- Extensive experience using geospatial analytics software.
- Microsoft PL-300 Power BI accreditation or another relevant certification.
- Experience leading data analytics projects and teams and working in a consulting environment.
