Senior Digital Analyst (Data Activation)

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of Paid Media activation through the data warehouse, Reverse ETL and related data systems.
• Build and maintain marketing datasets with SQL and dbt for audiences, conversion signals and activation use cases.
• Improve pipeline monitoring and observability, and diagnose issues across the activation chain.
• Work with Analytics Engineering and Data Engineering on modeling patterns, architecture and standards.
• Help teams select suitable approaches across warehouse activation, real-time tracking, mobile measurement partners and other integrations.
• Contribute to the wider stack, including Google Tag Manager, server-side tracking and Singular.

Requirements

• Use SQL to understand complex datasets and solve production problems.
• Experience with dbt or another code-based transformation framework and maintainable data models.
• Experience with production systems that move customer or event data between platforms.
• Experience with customer or marketing data, including events, user attributes and identifiers.
• Knowledge of event managers in advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta or TikTok.
• Collaborate with data, analytics and software engineers; discuss trade-offs and contribute through Git and code review workflows.
• Investigate ambiguous problems, structure them and drive them towards a solution.

Preferred experience

• Nice to have: independent ownership of production processes or data models; Python; APIs and third-party integrations.
• Nice to have: advertising Conversion APIs, identity resolution or identity graphs, and mobile measurement partners such as Singular or AppsFlyer.
