About the role
Senior DevOps Engineer joining the Development team to build, maintain, and scale high-availability systems for global services.
The role works with Linux, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring systems, and distributed databases to improve platform scalability, reliability, and resilience.
Your mission
- Maintain and optimize bare-metal servers, LXC containers, virtual machines, and cloud environments.
- Operate and support Nginx, Puppet, GitLab, Artifactory, Nexus, Harbor, Grafana, and other core infrastructure services.
- Evolve infrastructure using IaC and resolve infrastructure operations incidents.
- Collaborate with network engineers, developers, and technical stakeholders.
- Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant, scalable solutions.
- Monitor service performance and availability, supporting reliability and efficient resource use.
What we are looking for
- Fluent English is mandatory; Arabic is a strong plus.
- At least 4 years in Linux administration, DevOps, or SRE.
- Strong Bash or similar scripting skills and solid TCP/IP, routing, and DNS fundamentals.
- Production experience managing bare-metal infrastructure.
- Experience with Ansible or Puppet, distributed databases, Kubernetes administration, and containerized workloads.
- Experience with FluxCD or ArgoCD and the ability to design high-performance, fault-tolerant, secure infrastructure.
- Experience with observability systems such as Zabbix, VictoriaMetrics, Loki, or Grafana, including dashboards and alerting.
Additional differentiators
- Programming experience in Python or Go; experience with AWS, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, or other cloud providers.
- Familiarity with Ceph or service meshes such as Istio, and experience with high-load, large-scale distributed systems.
