Job Overview
Aster Path Labs is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing IT and Digital Infrastructure team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, improving system reliability, and supporting scalable application environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Collaborate with software developers, QA teams, and IT operations to improve deployment efficiency
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of services
- Implement security best practices, backup strategies, and disaster recovery solutions
- Manage containerization and orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes
- Optimize system scalability, reliability, and operational performance
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and system configurations
- Support production releases and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Management
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell scripting
- Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Nagios
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
