Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS SaaS Infrastructure – Odoo ERP)

About the Role

We are building a  next-generation cloud-based ERP & POS platform for restaurants , powered by Odoo and a SaaS architecture (Webkul SaaS module).

This is not a typical IT role.

We are looking for a  high-level DevOps Engineer  who can design, build, and operate a  scalable, secure, multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure on AWS  — from the ground up.

You will work directly with leadership on a product designed to scale across multiple countries and enterprise clients.

What You’ll Own

• Architect and deploy  AWS infrastructure for a multi-tenant SaaS platform
• Design and manage
• VPC, networking, security groups
• EC2 / Auto Scaling
• Application Load Balancer
• RDS PostgreSQL (Odoo core DB)
• Redis (ElastiCache)
• EFS / S3 storage
• Implement  high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance
• Set up  CI/CD pipelines  (GitHub Actions / GitLab / Bitbucket)
• Manage  containerization (Docker)  if needed
• Configure  monitoring, logging, alerting  (CloudWatch, etc.)
• Implement  backup, disaster recovery, and rollback strategies
• Secure infrastructure using:
• IAM best practices
• AWS WAF
• Secrets Manager / KMS
• Optimize performance for:
• High number of tenants (multi-database Odoo)
• POS real-time workloads
• Support  tenant provisioning automation  (SaaS onboarding flows)

Required Experience

• 5+ years in  DevOps / Cloud Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with  AWS
• Deep understanding of:
• Linux systems (Ubuntu)
• Networking (VPC, subnets, routing)
• PostgreSQL (performance, backups, scaling)
• Experience with:
• Docker
• CI/CD pipelines
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Experience managing  production-grade systems
• Strong understanding of  security and best practices

Highly Preferred

• Experience with  Odoo deployment and scaling
• Experience with  multi-tenant SaaS architectures
• Familiarity with  Webkul SaaS module  (big plus)
• Experience with  Redis, Nginx, reverse proxy setups
• Experience scaling systems with  hundreds of customers
• Exposure to  ERP or POS systems
