Role overview

Responsibilities

• Build scalable full-stack applications and responsive frontend systems for AI-driven oil and gas operations.
• Develop backend services and APIs using microservices and event-driven patterns; work with structured and unstructured data.
• Build cloud-native, containerized applications and integrate AI/ML services into production.
• Ensure system performance, scalability, security, and reliability; contribute to architecture and engineering practices.
• Use and validate AI coding assistants; participate in CI/CD, DevOps, and delivery-pipeline improvements.
• Integrate with industrial data sources such as IoT, SCADA, and enterprise platforms; collaborate across technical and domain teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5–8 years of full-stack development experience; backend with Python/FastAPI or Node.js and frontend with React, Angular, or similar plus TypeScript.
• Knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, relational and NoSQL databases, and event-driven messaging.
• Hands-on AWS, Azure, or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Git workflows, and DevOps experience.
• Experience integrating AI/ML services or data-driven APIs; production use of AI-assisted development tools with strong code ownership.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work in agile environments; mentoring or technical leadership is a plus.
• Oil and gas, energy, or industrial digitalization experience is a strong advantage.
