Role overview

Project excellence

• Deliver high-quality projects focused on user experience and manage timelines to meet or beat deadlines.
• Maintain budgets while balancing cost, quality, and time-saving measures.
• Align project delivery with company processes, strategic goals, policies, and objectives.

Design management

• Support the Director of Architecture in developing and implementing design strategies.
• Manage the end-to-end design process from brief preparation through procurement, technical reviews, and consultant appointments.
• Deliver projects from concept through tender and construction documentation, including obtaining building permits.
• Solve design issues creatively, communicate solutions, and prioritize new requests.

Risk and collaboration

• Create processes and templates for consistent handling of complex tasks.
• Anticipate and manage risks by clarifying stakeholder uncertainties.
• Communicate with project stakeholders and manage complexities at site and throughout procurement.

Required skills

• Strong project management and delivery within budget and timeline constraints.
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex design challenges.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to lead consultants and stakeholders.
• In-depth architectural knowledge focused on user experience and technical efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture.
• At least 12 years of experience in design and management roles; experience with leading local developers is preferred.
• Extensive experience managing residential and commercial office projects.
• Knowledge of coordinating architectural, interior, landscape, structural, MEP, and infrastructure disciplines.
• Ability to present compellingly to executive management.
• Familiarity with UAE local requirements and regulations.
