Senior role supporting the growth of the organisation’s internal data capability across underwriting, operations, and finance.

Data change and analysis
- Lead discovery and delivery of data initiatives across business domains, applying structured analysis and change management.
- Own smaller data projects and enhancements from discovery through business-as-usual adoption.
- Define requirements using data flows, lineage, source-to-target mappings, and reporting specifications.
- Bridge business stakeholders with Data Architecture and Engineering teams.
Governance and stakeholder work
- Embed data ownership, standards, and controls; support data quality assessment, issue identification, and remediation definition.
- Drive consistent data definitions and usage, aligning delivery with enterprise strategy and regulatory expectations.
- Engage senior stakeholders, explain complex data concepts, and support adoption and transition into business-as-usual operations.
Essential experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst delivering data-centric initiatives.
- Strong conceptual understanding of data architecture and data warehousing; hands-on delivery is not required.
- Experience in structured, governance-heavy delivery environments.
- Ability to explain complex data concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Desirable experience
- Insurance experience is desirable; London Market experience is not essential, and wider insurance backgrounds are welcomed.
- Exposure to SQL, Power BI, SSRS, or similar data and BI technologies is desirable.
- Experience partnering with Data Architecture teams and familiarity with Visio, Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, or Miro are desirable.
