Part-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, with flexibility for some work from home.
Design and evolve data architecture that supports business, analytics, and regulatory needs.
Responsibilities
- Define data standards and collaborate with engineering teams on data integrations.
- Oversee data modeling and guide data pipeline and warehousing solution design.
- Translate stakeholder needs into scalable data solutions.
- Assess data quality and governance practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data and engineering team members.
- Document architecture decisions and review implementation plans.
- Improve data platforms for performance, reliability, and security.
Qualifications
- Strong data architecture and data warehousing skills for scalable, secure, high-performance environments.
- Data modeling skills for analytics, reporting, and operational systems.
- Data governance skills to define standards, policies, and controls.
- ETL skills to design and optimize integrations.
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), relational and NoSQL databases, and modern data stack tools are beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven senior or lead data architecture experience, preferably in complex, data-rich environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to collaborate across locations and time zones in hybrid teams.
