Funding Circle seeks a Senior Data Analyst to join its Data team within Tech and Data and support growing analytical demand across the business.
The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract and works with experienced analytics engineers and managers.
Workplace
- London hybrid role with two days in the office.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain performant, scalable Tableau reports.
- Work with business users to understand needs, automate identified manual processes and create documentation.
- Train and support Tableau users.
- Collaborate with third-party developers on the AWS Athena-to-Snowflake migration, representing business needs.
- Contribute to business analytics and mentor colleagues in building more sophisticated AI systems.
Candidate requirements
- Deep SQL expertise and experience with modern data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift or BigQuery.
- Expert Tableau skills and a practical approach to balancing technical standards with business priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including partnering with non-technical teams and collaborating cross-functionally.
- Ability to design safe, maintainable custom AI solutions and automated systems, and to mentor colleagues in their development.
Desirable skills
- Financial dataset knowledge or banking/fintech experience is desirable.
- Experience with dbt and building and maintaining modular, scalable data models is desirable.
