Senior Crypto Wallet & Custody Operations Manager

Job Summary:

McCoin is building a next-generation, compliance-first crypto brokerage platform in the UAE.

We are looking for a Senior Crypto Wallet & Custody Operations Manager to lead and own the end-to-end wallet infrastructure and custody operations, ensuring security, efficiency, and regulatory alignment across all blockchain interactions.

This role sits at the intersection of blockchain operations, risk management, and product execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Wallet & Custody Operations

· Oversee daily operations of exchange wallets, including deposits, withdrawals, and asset flows

· Monitor on-chain activity to ensure timely transaction processing and resolve delays or failures

· Maintain high availability and operational uptime of wallet infrastructure

· Coordinate and execute:

· Network upgrades

· Token migrations / events

· Testing and rollout activities

Risk, Security & Compliance

· Monitor internal alerts and respond to incidents in coordination with internal and external stakeholders

· Implement safeguards to mitigate operational and financial risks

· Continuously review and enhance controls, policies, and risk frameworks

· Support engagement with regulators, auditors, and compliance stakeholders

Process Optimization & Product Enhancement

· Identify opportunities to automate and optimize internal processes

· Improve operational efficiency and user experience across wallet interactions

· Analyze competitor platforms and industry trends to drive product and process improvements

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Partner with Customer Support to resolve wallet-related user issues

· Work closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations teams

· Contribute to platform-wide improvements and operational excellence

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in: Crypto wallet operations, Blockchain infrastructure, Custody or exchange environments

Strong familiarity with: Blockchain ecosystems (EVM, Polkadot, Cosmos, etc.), On-chain analytics tools and transaction monitoring, DeFi protocols and emerging blockchain projects

Deep understanding of wallet infrastructure: Nodes and RPC architecture, Signing services, Custody models (HSM, MPC, hardware wallets, embedded custody, KMS)

• Experience with incident management and risk analysis in high-stakes environments
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment with strong ownership and accountability
• TradFi custody or financial services experience is a strong plus
