Contract Type: 12-Month Contract (Strong Likelihood of Extension)

We are currently supporting a leading banking client in Dubai on a large-scale enterprise credit risk transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Risk Implementation Director to join the initiative.

This is a senior domain-led role requiring deep expertise across corporate banking credit functions, credit administration, credit operations, and credit risk management within wholesale or institutional banking environments.

The role sits within a well-established Transformation Office where PMO, governance, and programme controls are already in place. The key requirement is strong hands-on credit domain expertise combined with experience supporting implementation, workflow transformation, and enterprise banking change initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter leadership across corporate banking credit risk and credit operations functions

• Support implementation of credit risk frameworks, workflows, controls, and operational processes

• Drive alignment between business, credit, operations, technology, and transformation teams

• Contribute to large-scale implementation initiatives across loan origination, credit workflow, collateral management, and related banking platforms

• Translate credit policies, operational requirements, and governance standards into executable processes and system requirements

• Support programme delivery across design, implementation, testing, rollout, and stabilization phases

• Participate in stakeholder governance forums and senior management discussions

• Ensure operational processes and controls align with regulatory and internal governance standards

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience within corporate / wholesale banking credit functions

• Strong background in credit administration, credit operations, credit risk control, or related credit management functions

• Experience supporting banking transformation, workflow automation, or implementation programmes

• Exposure to core banking systems, loan origination platforms, collateral management systems, or workflow-based documentation systems is highly desirable

• Strong understanding of syndicated lending, documentation governance, post-sanction administration, and operational controls

• Experience within multinational or regional banks preferred

• UAE/GCC experience is advantageous but not mandatory
