Senior Contracts Manager

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations and finalize favorable contractual agreements.
• Oversee contract execution, administration, and compliance.
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks, disputes, and claims.
• Monitor contract budgets, financial performance, and cost control; track deliverables, performance, and KPIs.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and implement best practices.
• Support HSE initiatives in line with company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 8 years of professional experience, including 5 years in a relevant supervisory position.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FIDIC contracts, tender requirements, and contract conditions.
• Good understanding of Qatar Construction Standards and commercial principles.
• Professional FIDIC certification or chartered membership such as CIOB or RICS is preferred.
• SAP/ERP knowledge and strong contract negotiation, administration, and management skills.
• GCC experience is an advantage.
