- Position: Senior Consultant Stroke Medicine - Leading Health Care Facility
- SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Consultant in Stroke Medicine to join a leading health care facility.
- In this senior role, you will provide expert clinical leadership in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of stroke patients.
- You will play a pivotal role in advancing stroke care, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to research and service development initiatives.
- Key Responsibilities:* Lead and oversee the comprehensive care and management of patients with stroke and cerebrovascular diseases.
- Provide expert clinical consultations and second opinions for complex cases.
- Develop and implement best-practice clinical protocols and pathways for stroke management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurologists, radiologists, rehabilitation specialists, and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes.
- Engage in clinical research, audits, and quality improvement projects related to stroke medicine.
- Mentor, train, and support junior medical staff and healthcare professionals.
- Lead educational sessions and contribute to continuous professional development programs.
- Participate in strategic planning and service development to enhance stroke care delivery.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Extensive experience and board certification in Stroke Medicine or a related specialty.
- Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting, preferably in stroke care.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex stroke cases and lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong research background with publications in stroke medicine preferred.
- Excellent communication, teaching, and mentoring skills.
- Commitment to advancing clinical standards and patient-centered care.
