- As the Senior Consultant Psychiatry, you will be responsible for delivering expert psychiatric assessments and treatment, guiding multidisciplinary teams, and shaping the strategic direction of psychiatric services.
- Key Responsibilities:* Conduct detailed psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in line with best practices.
- Provide leadership and clinical guidance to psychiatrists and allied mental health professionals.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.
- Lead initiatives to improve service delivery, clinical outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
- Supervise and support research and training programs to foster continuous professional development.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Engage in community outreach and education programs to raise mental health awareness.
Requirements
- Medical degree (M.D. or equivalent) with Board Certification in Psychiatry.
- Proven experience as a senior consultant or lead psychiatrist in a reputable healthcare facility.
- Strong clinical expertise in managing complex psychiatric cases and developing innovative treatment approaches.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in research, training, and quality improvement within psychiatric care.
- Comprehensive understanding of healthcare policies and regulatory requirements pertinent to psychiatry.
