SearchPlus HR is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Consultant in Intensive Care to join a leading Private Healthcare Sector institution. This prestigious role requires a seasoned intensivist capable of delivering expert clinical care, overseeing complex cases, and providing leadership within a state-of-the-art intensive care unit (ICU).

As a Senior Consultant Intensive Care physician, you will be responsible for managing critically ill patients, guiding junior staff, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of patient care. Your advanced knowledge and clinical expertise will aid in the implementation of best practices to improve patient outcomes in a fast-paced, sophisticated private healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:* Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of critically ill patients in the ICU.

• Lead and mentor junior consultants, registrars, and other ICU staff.
• Develop and oversee individualized patient care plans alongside multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform advanced intensive care procedures and interventions.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, quality standards, and patient safety regulations.
• Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to clinical research and audits.
• Support effective communication with patients’ families, providing information and counseling as needed.

Requirements

• Medical degree with specialization and significant experience in Intensive Care Medicine.
• Proven track record as a Senior Consultant or equivalent role within the private healthcare sector.
• Advanced clinical skills in managing complex and critically ill patients.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team collaboration abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
• Involvement in clinical research, audits, or teaching is desirable.
• Valid medical license and relevant certifications to practice in the private sector.
