As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for leading the neonatal care unit, managing critically ill and premature newborns, and implementing the latest evidence-based practices to ensure the highest standards of care.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), providing expert clinical care to critically ill and premature newborns
- Manage complex neonatal cases using advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and multidisciplinary neonatal teams
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and guidelines to improve neonatal outcomes
- Engage with families, providing education and support regarding newborn care and treatment plans
- Participate in clinical research and continuous professional development activities
- Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient care in compliance with healthcare regulations
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in Neonatology
- Board certification in Neonatology or equivalent qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in neonatal care with senior consultant or leadership roles
- Expertise in managing advanced newborn and NICU care, including ventilator management and resuscitation
- Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills
- Valid medical license to practice in Abu Dhabi or eligibility to obtain one
- Commitment to research, education, and maintaining up-to-date clinical knowledge
