Senior Consultant, EAML Capital Markets Business Effectiveness

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Lead optimization projects and improve transaction monitoring implementation and tuning.
• Analyze industry trends and regulatory updates on money laundering and terrorist financing scenarios.
• Work with Capital Markets Risk, Technology, FIU, AML, and business partners to identify gaps and recommend solutions.
• Manage improvement initiatives, analyze data and trends, and develop strategies to mitigate AML/ATF risk.
• Support transformation and remediation initiatives.
• Present recommendations to senior management and support monitoring coverage, process enhancements, and EAML leadership initiatives.

Candidate requirements

• Knowledge of AML regulations, practices, and economic sanctions, or comparable experience in fraud, strategy, or regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of capital markets products, services, delivery channels, and emerging technologies.
• Degree or diploma in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Lean Six Sigma and ACAMS accreditations are assets.
• Sound judgment, analytical skills, leadership, and collaborative relationship-building ability.

Work arrangement

• Hybrid arrangement with 2–3 days per week on-site and other days remote.
