• In this capacity, you will lead the anesthesia services within the cardiac surgery department, providing expert clinical care, guiding multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort during complex cardiac procedures.
• Key Responsibilities:* Lead and manage cardiac anesthesia services to support a broad spectrum of cardiac surgeries and interventions.
• Perform detailed pre-operative patient evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Administer anesthesia and continuously monitor hemodynamic and respiratory parameters during surgeries.
• Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, and critical care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior anesthesiology staff and fellows, fostering clinical excellence and professional growth.
• Participate in quality assurance, research activities, and implementation of best practices to advance cardiac anesthesia care.

Requirements

• Qualifications:* Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in Anesthesiology.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience specializing in cardiac anesthesia within a high-volume, advanced healthcare setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of cardiac physiology, pharmacology, and anesthetic techniques related to complex cardiac surgeries.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing clinical teams and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach and ability to work effectively under pressure.
